I began my journey in the digital world back in 2006, during my studies in computer science at ITIS G. Marconi. Initially, I imagined a future solely in programming and development, driven by a passion for building digital products. However, I quickly realized something crucial was missing: clarity and visual quality in user interfaces.
Motivated by the desire to bridge this gap, I pursued design studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 2015. Even as a student, I was already working actively as a freelance UX/UI designer, applying my education directly to real-world projects.
In 2016, I interned at the creative studio Siquis, gaining insight into team dynamics and the strategic side of design work. I then joined Masamune as a brand designer, focusing on visual identity and communication. I quickly rose to the role of Art Director, and from 2019 expanded my collaborations with various agencies. In 2022, I became Principal UX/UI Designer at Swag International, working on decentralized finance and crypto projects, while continuing in parallel as a freelance Head of Design at Masamune. Today, I primarily focus on optimizing digital products across different industries, with a special interest in the finance sector a long standing passion of mine.
I move fluidly between design and technology, merging creativity and technical expertise to create digital experiences that are both functional and innovative. My inspiration comes from John Maeda’s “capabilities triangle – Thinker, Doer, Maker” which emphasizes the synergy of analysis, action, and tangible execution.
I have always believed in the power of a hybrid approach, where curiosity and continuous learning intertwine to produce effective solutions. Guided by the philosophy of generalist designers and Maeda’s vision, I’ve chosen to integrate multiple disciplines rather than confine myself to just one, all while focusing on design as my core specialization. It’s not about mastering every field; rather, it’s about maintaining a broader perspective to identify what truly matters in a project.
This perspective allows me to tilt the balance toward my expertise in design, while preserving a peripheral awareness of relevant technologies and strategies. By doing so, I can plan and build products that seamlessly combine aesthetics, functionality, and genuine value for the user.
In an era defined by specialization, I embrace integration. I believe the intersection of diverse fields is where the most innovative ideas emerge. For me, design is more than aesthetics it’s a powerful lens for understanding and solving complex challenges. By merging design and technology, I develop digital experiences that address today’s demands while envisioning tomorrow’s possibilities. This philosophy reflects the mindset of the generalist designer one who draws on multiple disciplines to build impactful and forward thinking solutions.
